Printing & Sharing Recipe Cards

A few practical ways to keep a recipe by the mixing bowl or pass a favorite on to someone else.

A recipe you come back to deserves a place you can find it. That might be a folder of printouts, a handwritten card, or a link saved with a note about what you changed.

Each recipe page has a Print recipe button near the top. It opens your browser’s print dialog, where you can print a paper copy or save the page as a PDF.

The print layout leaves out the navigation, large header photo, and related-recipe sidebar. The ingredients and method stay together in a readable format.

Add the details you’ll want next time

Write down the pan size you used, how long the bake took in your oven, and any substitutions. Keep the original quantities alongside your notes so you can tell what changed.

If you’re handing the recipe to someone else, include the recipe name and source link. That makes it easier to find the photos or check a detail later.

Share a favorite

Copy the recipe’s address from your browser to send the link. For a printed card, make sure the ingredients and every step are included, especially resting, cooling, or chilling times.

If you want a service to print and mail a card, our related project The Letter Pilot offers online letter printing and mailing. Check its current service details before ordering.
